Tony Bacon & Ali Bacon present a check to Jubilee Reach Executive Director Brent Christie

BELLEVUE, WA. (August 1, 2011) — The Bacon Family Foundation has supported Jubilee REACH, a non-profit serving the needs of the community of Bellevue, over the years and seen the positive affect the Jubilee REACH mission “Love, Listen and Learn” has had on our community. The recent donation of $50,000 will support Jubilee REACH’s newest endeavor – Jubilee Reality SPORTS.
Jubilee Reality SPORTS is a joining together of the needs of the Bellevue School District and the willingness of Jubilee REACH to lend an ear. Jubilee REACH will provide soccer and basketball teams for six middle schools starting this fall under the leadership of Tim Kuykendall, Manager of Jubilee Reality SPORTS and After School Programs. The aim of Jubilee Reality Sports is to provide a safe place for the youth of Bellevue to be seen, heard and cared for by experienced coaches, tutors and mentors to develop youth as individuals as well as athletes. Coaches and staff will coach character, life skills and academic success above and beyond the athleticism, teamwork and sportsmanship provided on a regular sports team. The goal is beyond winning, and that’s what makes Jubilee Reality SPORTS unique.
Jubilee Reality SPORTS is just another way Jubilee REACH is creating lasting change in the community and mobilizing local businesses, organizations, churches and schools to care for their neighbor.
